Under Pressure
Some tools in the workshop are about speed and chaos, but the Under Pressure station is about a different kind of power. This shop press is a testament to the fact that sometimes, the only way to get a job done is with a little bit of force. Named after the classic song, this station is where we bring everything together with a powerful, deliberate squeeze. It's the point where a project's future is no longer in doubt, as a flat piece of metal is bent into a perfect angle and a stubborn bearing is pressed into place.
This is the kind of tool that saves a lot of time and effort. With over 20 tons of strength, this shop press allows us to bend metal with a level of precision and power that you can't get by hand. It's a crucial step in the process, a monument to the idea that the right amount of pressure can turn chaos into a perfect fit. It’s a place where we can take a raw piece of steel and mold it into something new, all with a single, controlled motion.
The Under Pressure station may not be the flashiest part of the workshop, but it's one of the most vital. It's a tool of immense strength, and its purpose is to ensure that a project's pieces are solid and stable. It’s a quiet, powerful guardian that ensures every one of our masterpieces starts with a foundation of strength.

The first thing I did was throw this thing on wheels. I change layouts a lot, so all my stations must be on wheels. It’s a crucial step in the setup, a necessary part of the constant dance of controlled chaos that is the workshop.
