Timber Time Station
Every workshop needs a place to bring the timber to life, and for us, that's the Timber Time Station. Named after the king of all tool gurus, this is where we get serious about our wood projects. This massive, custom-built station is a testament to the fact that you don't have to choose between organization and power. It's a cohesive work area that houses everything we need to make a project sing from start to finish.
This station is home to the mighty vertical panel saw for big, clean cuts, a miter saw for perfect angles, and a duo of drum and benchtop sanders for a flawlessly smooth finish. It’s a place for serious work, where every tool has a purpose and a dedicated space. The entire setup is designed to bring a level of power and precision to our wood projects that would be impossible without a dedicated space like this.
More than just a collection of tools, the Timber Time Station is about the art of wood. It's a dedicated workspace that brings organization to the chaotic workflow of a busy shop. It ensures every cut is clean, every angle is perfect, and every project starts with a foundation of absolute precision. It’s where the magic of "Tool Time" comes to life.

A lot of stations in the workshop start as one thing and, through a series of XP gains, they level up into something else entirely. This humble stand was the starting point, the common ancestor of both the Timber Time Station and the Carpenter's Guild. What you see here isn't just a workbench; it's the beginning of a process that would bring a whole new level of organization and chaos to the shop.

Between the first Timber Time Station and this setup, the saw stand was made where the side arms would open up for longer cut supports. And I know what you're saying, "RJ, what side arms?" Yeah, they did not turn out well. It was a failed attempt, but you learn what you can from mistakes and move on.

Just shelfing around, get it? Cuz I added a shelf. I know, I know, that was terrible. I'll see myself out, but not before I admire the functional beauty of this addition.

Let's talk life hacks: why wood boards? Since I use a 12-inch saw with a 10-inch blade, the wood helps me achieve a full cut through. It also allows me to add a ruler for quick cutting, but the real genius is being able to write notes and dimensions directly on the board so I don't have to check them every time. That's true efficiency.
