The Arc-Smith
Every workshop has a tool that’s as powerful as it is precise, and for us, that's The Arc-Smith. This CNC plasma cutter is where the old-school grit of a blacksmith meets the high-tech brain of a computer. It's a tool that takes a digital blueprint and, with a powerful arc of fire, cuts and shapes metal with a ferocity that would make any craftsman proud.
This is a place where we can take a full sheet of steel and, in minutes, cut out custom parts and intricate designs. The Arc-Smith is a tool of immense power. It’s where we can do the heavy-duty work that would take hours by hand, all while creating a mess of sparks, molten metal, and noise. It’s a tool that takes a lot of the guesswork out of fabrication, but it’s still a powerful, raw process that leaves no doubt about its purpose.
The Arc-Smith may be loud and messy, but it's one of the most vital tools in the workshop. It’s a tool that allows for a level of creativity and speed that would be impossible without it. It's a monument to the idea that the right tool can turn a great idea into an unforgettable masterpiece.

This machine was a total game-changer for the shop. What took me hours to do by hand was greatly reduced by this machine. And for the workload I had at the time, this saved me a lot of time and made it special for a particular project that came my way. ::Cough, Afterlife...Cough::

There were a few mess-ups here and there, but after all, everything is a learning curve. This machine was a beast to learn, but my god... this really was a game changer.

And this is the aftermath of endless cutting and endless learning. We had a few mess-ups here and there, but we learned a lot along the way. Cleaning up a CNC plasma cutter table is well... annoying, but seeing the final product makes it all worth it.

Only 12 days later, and I had to clean the bed again. Manually draining the table and cleaning it became a process that took way too much of my time, and one that I knew I had to find a way to speed up in the future, as you will see... Ohh, foreshadowing.

I've found that whenever a machine acts up, I tend to cut something quick and easy just to make sure it's working right. It’s a great test for the machine… not so much for my shop walls. A test run is a success, even if it leaves behind a few souvenirs on the wall, right?

I am so, like, over cleaning this time. It’s eating up too much time, and it's time for an upgrade

A bigger drain. This is a definite step in the right direction. At least now, it won't take as long to drain. It's the small, functional victories like this that make all the difference in the workshop.

Many months later, I finally had a better solution. Thanks to the power of air, the table will fill with water and drain when not in use. Believe it or not, it's actually a huge upgrade. Now I get to clean out dry gunk instead of wet sludge. And that, my friends, is a victory I'll take any day.
