Tardis Paint Booth

In a workshop full of tools and projects, some ideas are a bit grander than others. The Tardis Paintbooth is one of them. The name is a direct homage to the Doctor's famous time-traveling police box, and it’s a perfect fit. Just like the real thing, it feels a bit bigger on the inside (ok so not really, but i do really wish it did), providing a dedicated space for finishing that keeps the rest of the shop clean and organized.

This station is the final stage of a project's journey. It’s a contained environment for spray painting, airbrushing, and even powder coating, which are all crucial steps in the finishing process. It's where we can give a project a flawless, professional finish, all while protecting the rest of the workshop from the inevitable chaos of a paint sprayer.

But this is more than a paint booth. It's a place where every project gets its final coat, stepping out of the box with a new look, as if it's traveled through time to its final form. It's a testament to the idea that the final layer of paint is the last crucial step in the creative process—the moment when a project truly becomes a masterpiece.

When this project started, I had no clue its final theme was going to be the TARDIS. The theme was just part of the evolution of this workstation—a basic idea that got built up and changed along the way. This is how it all started, with a simple concept.
