Glitche's Desk
This isn't just a desk; it's a launchpad for mayhem. Glitch's Desk is a monument to the chaotic, hyper-energetic side of the workshop, a place where all of Glitch’s wild ideas and half-baked plans are born. It’s a space where Glitch keeps his rubber chickens, his collectibles, and all the things that he says are important, all in a glorious, unorganized mess.
It’s a place where chaos isn’t tamed; it’s a lifestyle. Every toy, every bolt, and every half-finished scribble is exactly where Glitch left it, which is to say, everywhere. It’s a visual representation of his brain—a constant, overflowing stream of creativity with a total disregard for order. It’s not just a desk; it’s a living monument to the purest form of Glitch.
This desk is more than a workspace; it's a personal time capsule. While others might see a cluttered surface, what you're really looking at is a collection of memories and moments that hold sentimental value. From that weird bolt you found on the street to a forgotten toy from your childhood, every item is a relic from your past and a promise of the mayhem to come. It’s the one place where Glitch's wild imagination is fully on display, proving that sometimes, the best way to get things done is to embrace the glorious, beautiful chaos.

This desk wasn't originally built to be Glitch's. It started out as just another work table. But over time, it was completely taken over by his chaotic energy and a glorious mess of forgotten parts. Eventually, this desk's journey ended, but its story continued. It would eventually get remixed and rebuilt into the Kronos Workbench.

So, I decided I needed a mid-shelf and used some scrap I had lying around. Then, as luck would have it, I found a bunch of this bamboo flooring on clearance at Lowe's... and I got it even cheaper. That's why you start to see all my stations begin to use it as a top.

This desk did not start off as Glitch's desk. It was just another work table, as previously stated. This seemed like the right book to put this on because it's a testament to the fact that even the most mundane of items can have a story.

This was a personal challenge, a project that was probably squeezed in at 3 a.m., between a dozen other things. I made this sign long before I even knew about Glitch's desk. It was a completely aimless project with no real end goal. It just goes to show you that even when you're running on fumes, your brain will still find a way to make more work for you. It's a real talent, I swear.

I thought I had pictures of me actually building this backdrop, but I guess that’s a casualty of the chaos. You can see the sign hung on the wall in all its glory now, along with a new cork board. Of course, what better image to laser engrave on it than the Ghostbusters Firehouse?
